Professor Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman is a renowned ENT and HEAD NECK specialist and surgeon in Bangladesh known amongst his colleagues, students and patients by his knowledge, devotion, expertise international recognition and sympathy to the suffering humanity. He has completed his MBBS form Dhaka Medical College in 1983(Sept.), FCPS in ENT in 1991 and Master of surgery (MS) in 1998. He has extensive training from abroad (Australia, Germany, Belgium, South Korea, Singapore, Bangkok, China) on the latest ENT and HEAD NECK procedures. He is the pioneer of ENT LASER surgery and endoscopic NECK surgery including Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery, NECK dissection etc. He has extensive knowledge on Hearing restoration Surgery and he is one of the Pioneers of private sector cochlear implant surgeons, Endoscopic, Nose and Sinus surgery (FESS), Endoscopic Pituitary, (a part of Brain) endoscopic CSF leakage repair surgery - These surgeries were first started by him in this country. Rhinoplasty (Plastic surgery of nose), extensive and critical ENT and HEAD NECK cancer surgery. He has worked as Assistant Professor, Assoc Professor and Professor in Govt. Medical colleges. He has also worked as HEAD OF ENT AND HEAD NECK surgery in Apollo hospitals Dhaka and Director and Head in United hospital Ltd., Dhaka. He is a good trainer and teacher of junior ENT Doctors in Bangladesh. He has presented many scientific papers in international conferences which were appreciated by world authorities. He has many articles published in national and international journals. He is the Edito in Chief of SAARC journal of ENT, Sub editor of Indian Journal of Otology, Reviewer of International Journal of Jourgery and Premier publications, Faculty Iranian Society of Rhinology etc. He is available is OPD every day except Friday.
