Personal Profile

Dr. Mohammad Abdullah obtained MBBS in 1980 and FCPS in 1988. He has been serving in the teaching posts with various capacities of different medical colleges and post graduate institutions for about 34 years. In addition, he also served in administrative posts as principal of a medical college and Founder Director of National Institute of ENT. As National Focal point for Prevention of Deafness he developed National Strategy Document "Sound Hearing 2030" as part of a regional program (SEARO) which is under the process of implementation in Bangladesh. Established Skill lab in different undergraduate & post graduate centres & organized hands-on training In Ear Surgery for about 150 learners. Started Cochlear Implant as pioneer in Bangladesh in Government & Private sector & performed 16 cases successfully. In addition to undergraduate teaching learning and assessment program he is actively involved with post graduate teaching learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. He also took part in undergraduate and postgraduate assessment programs of Tribubhan University Nepal and post graduate assessment program of CPSP of Pakistan. He has 35 publications in different medical journals.
